Pricing.

I do two things, and both are paid once: websites, from USD 500, and management systems, from USD 1,000. A website has three tiers and a system has four; what changes from one to the next is how many screens it has and what it connects to.

The domain is registered in your name and the project stays in your account, billed to your card, with nobody in between. The price is fixed before we start. If nothing below fits, email me what you need and I’ll send you a quote within 24 hours, with the scope and the timeline in writing.

Management systems

Each tier has a reference client you can go and look at, except the largest.

What all four include

  • It opens in the browser on your computer and on your phone, with nothing to install.
  • Each person signs in with their Google account, and nobody gets in unless you allowed it.
  • If the internet goes down, it keeps working and saves the changes when the connection is back.
  • The database keeps every minute of the last seven days: anything deleted by mistake comes back.
  • The code, the database and the domain stay in accounts in your name.
  • At handover I walk you through every screen.
  • During the months of maintenance included, I look after it as on the On-call plan.
  • When those months end, the system is still yours and keeps running: the plan is optional.

Base

For putting in order what lives in a notebook or a spreadsheet today: your clients, what they owe you, the day’s cash and the reminders on WhatsApp.

  • A login for each person who uses it, with no charge per user.
  • Two profiles: yours, which sees and changes everything, and the counter’s, which can’t change prices or delete.
  • Each client’s WhatsApp one tap away, with the message already written.

At Oro Gym it is four screens on Nacho’s phone: members, due dates, cash and numbers. The gym’s login takes payments, but it cannot change prices or delete members.

It does not include invoicing connected to the tax authority, large integrations or automations.

SLE has three roles: a courier sees only their own trips, with no prices or clients, and every change is logged with who made it. MATIAL puts together quotes and delivery notes as PDFs on its letterhead and sends them by WhatsApp.

A system or a website is paid once. The WhatsApp works with every message that comes in and has costs every month, so it has a setup fee and a monthly fee. From USD 1,500 to set it up, plus USD 120 a month. Meta bills the messages separately, straight to your card.

Maintenance, if you want it

The system is yours with or without a plan. Each tier comes with its months of maintenance, which are the On-call plan at no charge. When they end, if you want me to keep looking after it, you pick one of these two, month to month, with no minimum term.

On-call

A monitor keeps an eye on it and the database is copied twice a week. If something breaks, I fix it at no charge, and you can message me on WhatsApp any time: I reply the same day.

The same as On-call, plus up to two small improvements a month and a report at the end of the month with what the monitor measured and the copies that were made. Your messages go first.

The monitor and the copies are the same ones that look after the four systems in production today.

What I do in a month

  • A monitor opens your system from the outside several times a day, the way anyone would, and checks that your screen shows up and not an error page.
  • The same monitor watches the site’s certificate, the one behind the padlock in the browser, so it doesn’t expire.
  • Your database keeps every minute of the last seven days, and twice a week I take a full copy and store it outside Google. Each copy says whether it came out complete; if it didn’t, it doesn’t count.
  • You message me on WhatsApp and I reply the same day.

If something breaks

If your system doesn’t open, the monitor tries again half a minute later. If it is still down, I get an email right then, and another one when it comes back. The idea is that I find out before you do.

First it gets running again. Then I tell you what happened and what I changed so it doesn’t happen again. With a plan, that fix costs nothing.

If what broke is data, it comes back as it was a few minutes earlier. I learned that the hard way: a mistake of mine meant that deleting a courier’s record left all their trips without an owner. I recovered every one of them and changed two things: deleting a record no longer touches the trips, and the database keeps every minute of the last seven days.

What counts as a small improvement

A change that fits into a screen that already exists: a button, a field, a report, an alert. On-call + Improvements covers up to two a month. Three I have already made:

  • At MATIAL, a button to copy a van with the same setup. Javier asked for it on a Monday and it was working that same day.
  • Also at MATIAL, printing a van’s tasks on one sheet, so the workshop can cross them off in pencil.
  • At SLE, a box with the cash on hand, apart from the month’s result, because Marcela’s clients pay on credit and the month’s result alone didn’t show the money that was there.

A whole section is not a small improvement: a warehouse, manufacturing or costing are quoted separately, with the price fixed before we start.

Without a plan

The system is still yours and keeps running the same. What changes is that nobody watches it for you: if something breaks or you want a change, you message me and I give you the price of that job before I do it.

Why does a website start at USD 500 and a system go up to USD 4,000?

A website shows what you do and takes inquiries. A system runs the cash, the clients, the stock, the users and the payments every day, with different permissions for each person and integrations that have to be tested one by one. A website has its scope closed from the start; a system is built by watching how you work.

Will you charge me every month?

Not for using what you already paid for. A system or a website is paid once and that’s it. On the side there are third-party costs (the domain, the hosting, the WhatsApp messages) that go straight to your card, without me adding anything on top. And if you want me to keep looking after it, there are two optional plans, month to month, that you cancel whenever you want. The exception is the WhatsApp that answers on its own: it works with every message that comes in, and that’s why it has a monthly fee.

What exactly stays in your name?

The code, in a repository of yours. The database and the hosting, in an account of yours, billed to your card. The domain, in your company’s name. I stay on as technical administrator while the project lasts, and you remove me whenever you want.

How long does it take?

Essential, 1 to 2 weeks; Complete, 2 to 4 weeks; Premium, 4 to 6 weeks; Base, 3 to 5 weeks; Intermediate, 5 to 8 weeks; Advanced, 8 to 12 weeks; Full, 10 to 14 weeks. After the first conversation I send you a schedule with the date of the mockup, the adjustments and the handover.

And if in two years I want to switch developers?

You take the code, the server, the domain, the data and the keys. They were in your name from day one, so you don’t have to ask my permission or wait for me to hand them over. Nothing ties you to me.

How do I pay?

Half when we start and half on delivery. In Argentina it is paid in pesos at that day’s MEP rate, the market rate for the dollar. If you need another way, we agree on it before we start. Maintenance, if you take it, is billed monthly, and you cancel it with 30 days’ notice.

And if I need a change later, or a bug shows up?

Each tier comes with its days of adjustments: 30 days of adjustments on the smallest and 90 days of adjustments on the two largest. Everything that needs fixing goes in there. If later you want a new feature, I send you a quote before I start: I don’t bill hours blindly. With the On-call + Improvements plan, small improvements are already included.

Can I start with a website and move to a system later?

Yes, it is the most common path. You start with the website, see what inquiries come in, and with that I quote the system. What’s already built is reused as a base.

Why custom instead of a cheaper template?

Because your business has rules that don’t fit in a template: how you charge, how you book, how you count stock. With a template you end up changing how you work so the software understands you, and paying a fee every month. Here it’s the other way around, and you pay once.
